Watching families grow

I'm honored to have had the chance to photograph this family three years in a row! The first time I met them they had their son and a baby girl! It was so sweet to take photos of their newly sitting baby and their toddler holding his little sister! Last year I got to photograph two much bigger kids while they awaited the arrival of their sibling. This year I got to capture the whole family with their almost one year old little brother!

I absolutely love to photograph growing families at each milestone! It is so rewarding and so fun! It is one of the main reasons I love family photography. When you have children, they grow and change so quickly, it's worth documenting your family every six months just to keep up!

We spent an hour at Maymont in Richmond, Virginia, walking around the gardens taking beautiful family photos and lots of candids of the kids! Check out a few of my favorites below.
