Forest hill Park

I met this sweet family at Forest Hill Park in Richmond Virginia to capture some Fall family portraits!

Forest Hill Park is one of my favorite parks in Richmond; however, I don't photograph there often. I used to live on Forest Hill Avenue so I was there all the time! Did you know it used to be an amusement park (I love learning the history of our city)?! Today, this park is busy during the nice months: they have live music events, yoga classes, and don't forget the South of the James Farmer's Market!

The day we met for photos was one with a live music event so the park was busy! That didn't stop us. Check out some of the gorgeous Fall colors and sweet family moments we captured!
